Despite running the road out towards Fei Ngo Shan (Kowloon Peak) the day before, when I met up with my frequent running partner (Willie) at lunch, his slight hip niggle and new non-trail-suitable shoes meant that we'd be running the same route again. I was happy to keep a slow pace at the start, and since we were both feeling pretty good at the normal turning point, we pushed the distance out a little further than normal.
Spindly fingers push towards the sky
Green and purple plants line the path
An interesting address marker
I have no idea where this path leads!
Grasses cling tight to a rockface outside the detention centre.
Not exactly an interesting run from a photographic viewpoint, but the slow pace and longer than normal route made it very relaxing. A cruise with a good running buddy.
Last day before the competition ends... Get those entries in!
