A couple of days of rest and I was back on the trails again. As I had my Asics with me I decided it was about time for a re-match with Little Hawaii Trail, which I've ran about 4 times so far, but never been able to do without walking up at least some part of one of it's steep stair sections.
Bright sunny conditions and a little hotter than I'd like, but still much easier to run in than the tropical heat of Hong Kong's summer!
The make-shift rest-house and garden halfway along the trail
He-Cat and She-Cat, they fell in love each other. Although He-Cat seems to be dreaming about fish, instead!
The cobble stone (grrr) hill that climbs towards Tseun Lan Shue
I only got one shot of this guy before he disappeared. Although the W90 does have an awesome macro mode, this guy was big enough not to need it!
And.... I made it. Legs burning at the end, the trail has a real sting-in-the-tail so I was pretty happy to tick off that goal. So now I've ran Hawaii Trail properly, been over the top of Razor Hill and picked my way along the coastline. Sounds like I need to find a new challenge!
See you on the trails!
